About Me



Heather Eve is a high school math teacher and a U.S. Army veteran. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated Salutatorian of the Class of 2005 of Alhambra High School. In the military, she was a Signals Intelligence Analyst and served a tour in Iraq from 2007-2009. She left the Army in 2011 and returned home to Arizona to pursue her dream of teaching, and in 2016 received her third Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University along with a teaching certificate. She will be pursuing a Master's Certificate in Instructional Design and Performance Improvement beginning Fall 2023.


Heather has taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra 3, Geometry, Pre-calculus/ Trigonometry, and Contemporary Mathematics. During the 2023-24 school year she will be teaching Algebra 3 and fulfilling the role of Teacher Instructional Leader (TIL).   She began her teaching career at Dobson High School in Mesa and then moved to Danbury High School in Connecticut, and she is currently in her third year at Chaparral High School.
